Preparations have begun for the
incredible journey that lies ahead, and with that comes the setting up
of this blog – my travel blog. During my nine months away with Class
Afloat, I will be posting updates as well as photos.
But
first off, a bit about Class Afloat. We will be sailing and living
aboard the Sorlandet. It is a Norwegian tall ship, and the oldest
full-rigged ship in the world (built in 1927).

Though it is a
Norwegian ship, we will be starting off in Turkey because the ship is
currently there undergoing restoration (exciting, I can't wait to see
it!). Here is the itinerary for the year:
